When I took my new LCR to the range last week I had trouble with the shape of the trigger. It has enough "curve" that the tip of the trigger digs into my finger. After only about 30 rounds my finger was hurting, after a few more rounds it became unbearable. The tip of the trigger was digging into my finger and I don't think I have "fat fingers". If I move my grip a little higher to minimize muzzle rise the problem is even worse.
My first thought was to put a shoe on it but that thought was quickly discarded for obvious safety reasons, don't want to shoot myself holstering this weapon! I think I have seen an aftermarket trigger that is straighter but I can't find it now. This is not a range gun but I need to become proficient with it to be effective at self-defense, I don't want to "spray and pray".
Any suggestions?
