Today I fired my new LCRx .22 for the first time. No problems with 150 rds., and I was pleasantly surprised with the trigger.

The question is that there is an area on the top strap inside of the cylinder frame that has worn shiny. From where it is it seems it was from the cylinder contacting the top strap. My first 50 rds. were S/A, then the rest about half S/A and half D/A. It didn't seem to affect the function.

Is this a problem, other than cosmetic?

Hard to tell not seeing it and all (Picture would be nice), but I would think that would be a type of "Flame Cutting" mark that most all revolvers have??
Just a thought..Bill.

Further investigation with a wipe-away cloth reveals it is a bit of build-up. I'll keep an eye on it, but probably won't worry about it anymore.
