Yesterday I bought a Glock 30 SF. It was advertised as an LE package. The price was fair enough at $532 out the door. With holster, mag ext and ATF fee, $567, so I'm not complaining. I went to the sheriff department range master to qualify with the gun and WOW!, am I happy with this little guy. I shoot far better with it than with my issue G22. Even at 45 ft., 80% fall in a silver dollar sized hole. The fliers stay inside a 3# coffee can.
So here's the concern. The range master was looking it over, and asked if it was supposed to be an LE package. I said, "yes, why?". He said all the LE kits he'd seen were marked "LE" on the case label and came with 3 mags, and night sights. This gun has standard target sights and two mags. The civilian G30SFs had night sights and three mags. I can't vouch for the labeling on the storage cases as I never saw them.
Should I be concerned or am I getting lukewarm info?
