Saw the same Colt model at Walmart Gaylord, MI today. Scored some .22lr in Cadillac yesterday at another Walmart. Maybe things are improving.

my local wmt (town of less than 9k) has several colt ar's, and has had 1 or 2 most days i checked, even during the shortage months. i live in the sticks though.

Mine has three as we speak, two Socom and one MP.

Not sure why the Socoms are $1500 though. I'm guessing the KAC rail.

SOCOM models also have ambidextrous safety, heavy barrel under the handguards, and MaTech rear flip-up sight. And the KAC rail of course.

My local W-M has also had the 6940 for $1397. Wish I could've scored one of those!

Sounds like same prices as here in NCC, DE. Been that price for awhile; they come in sporadically. The LGS have many AKs, ARs, and other evil black rifles, but they are considerably higher $$$. Of course, they have much more selection and the high priced ammo to go with them.
