So I was playing with a Trijicon 5-20x 50mm scope today. TR23-G I think.

It uses the bindon aiming concept like ACOGs. Now I don't pretend to know anything about long range scopes, just 1x scopes and some 1-4x and some ACOGS.

This scopes lowest magnification is 5x, so when you turn to aim at something CQB, it's really easy for you to switch to your other eye, but your brain super imposes the recticle into you off-scope eye. 1x aiming. The higher the magnification the easier it seems to be to make the switch, because your brain won't pick the blurry over magnified image.

I was having alot of trouble switching back and forth. But then I remembered about my right eye. I'm left eye dominant big time. Can't use any magnification with my right eye at all.

When I transitioned to my weak right eye, my way super dominant left eye took over. Seeing everything in 1x, but having the recticle there!

I was going to add an Aimpoint T1 on my handgards, but now I think I'll just transition to my other eye/arm instead.

Weird as heck using a 5-20x 50mm scope to shoot 1x, but was a neat thing to learn, another feather in the tac cap.

So you've combined BAC and occluded sights?
