Scout scope options other than Leupold, Burris, or Hi-Lux?

I'm about to buy a Steyr Scout Rifle and I need an appropriate scout scope for it. Unfortunately, the options for long eye relief scout scopes are kinda thin, and really not that different.

Ideally what I would like is something like a long eye relief Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x24 but with a tritium illuminated .308 calibrated BDC reticle like on the TA11J-308 Acog. However, Trijicon doesn't make a long eye relief magnified optic of any kind. The standard duplex reticle on the Leupold, Burris and Hi-Lux/Leatherwood are... well, kinda boring. I know some purists like dead simple reticles, but I prefer mine to do more for me than simply provide a point of aim. I like having illumination, BDCs, and maybe even optical/analog range finding. 1x "red dot" type optics are not an option either since I prefer the option of some lower magnification and the stacked red dot magnifiers are not practical for long eye relief scout rifles. Plus, well, they're pretty boring reticle-wise as well.

Is there anything out there that comes even close to what I want? I was hoping a company like IOR Valdada or Vortex might have something along the lines of what I want, but so far I'm just not seeing it.

Maybe this will work for you; it's a 2.5-8X28 power scope, BDC, but no illumination. The eye relief is 30-9 inches and should be in the "Scout" range.

Now, here is the thing about that BDC, it is only going to be spot on for certain bullets, traveling at a certain velocity, at a given elevation, at a specific magnification. Change up your cartridge, or scope magnification and the point of impact may not be spot on any more.

The good news is that Nikon Hunting has a nice software that lets you input your rifles favorite cartridge, velocity, elevation and see if things work out.

I assumed you are using a 308 and plugged in the info for a 165grain spitzer boat tail running 2600 fps at sea level and the BDC lines up with the cross hair spot on at 100yds, the first circle down is at 202yds, next circle is at 309yds and the lowest aiming point is at 520yds. Magnification was set at 8X.

If you already know what load your rifle loves enter the info in the Spot On software and see what's what.
