I was wondering if anybody here appendix carries a G26 in a leather IWB holster?

I usually like to carry full-size revolvers (4" N-frames) in a IWB holster around 3 o'clock--often Milt Sparks VM2s.

I'd like to try appendix carry. I have a CTAC for my G26 which I am able to somewhat place into the appendix position--however, the clips dig into me in ways in doesn't when at 3 o'clock.

I think I would like to try a leather holster instead too for nice soft loops (tuckable is not important for this application).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

While not leather I am quite pleased with the IWB appendix I have from high noon. Its quite compfortable and easily carries my 26 comfortably.

As mentioned previously, High Noon is a good place to start. They recommend their vertical IWB holsters for appendix carry and recommend their canted IWB models for on or behind the hip.

Even if you don't buy from them, their site has a lot of good holster information.

the original holster designed for that carry is the Milt Sparks Summer Special.

it was designed by Bruce Nelson to carry his Colt Commander in that position when he worked as an undercover officer doing drug buys

I always carry appendix mode and prefer a kydex holster. Guns include a G27 or Defender and every no and then a Commander. I have tried different leather hosters but have settled on Kydex makes. No sweat issues, and I just feel they are much more secure in holding the gun.
