Had the idea for something similar to this for a couple years now but webbing in less than 1000+ yard quantities has proven a challenge to find.. There was a turn of the century belt designed with canvas loops on a leather belt mainly for rifle cartridges - but the case still on leather did not prevent verdigris from happening over time. This one is a base of 10 oz english bridle veg tan I'd had around the shop for quite some time, it comes tannery stuffed with hot waxes and requires no final finish with a very beautiful red color.

Made this one for my 32 H&R Mag collection. It's a fairly rough prototype on all accounts but they are usable for me to beat around on. Holds 42 rounds of the little 32's and is comfortable as can be with either but especially my Vaquerito riding around.

Super nice rig for your diminutive Rugers. Especially like the look of the canvas cartridge loops with the leather belt and holsters.

Man, that is one awesome looking rig.

Thank you!

Awesome work!

Thanks! Still got a few other variations of the canvas in limbo you should like :)

That's right purty!

Appreciate it!

Very nice!

I love the .32 H&R Mag.

You and me both, it's a ton of fun to play with!

Thanks! It's not very traditional but I like the way they look together.

I LIKE. My only concern.. how long will the white remain white? I LIKE the accent of the white, makes it POP.. but.

What other colors of the webbing have you found? Are you able to pre dye it?

Hi Greg, I'd say that the dirty of it comes with use. Can see how some folks would fret over it though.

They only offer the webbing in natural (white), olive drab, and black. I'm playing with a coffee dye that will come out about like a dirty white/light tan. The traditional dye results are spotty at best and I'm concerned about dye transfer should it get wet for whatever reason.

Words cannot really convey for me what a beautiful set you have created. Oh my goodness you can be proud. I know I would be if I had your skills. Don

Eagle, excellent work.....I've learned not to expect anything less from you.
great looking with the web bullet loops...I say, git em dirty.

Hey rayban, we just do what we can do. Some days it turns out better than others! Certainly agree with you on the get em dirty comment too.

Hey Don, give it 3 years and a bunch of cow hide and you'll be right there with me! Thank you for the kind words.

Very nice!
Is that a bark river knife?

Thanks! The knife is from a friend of mine who makes custom knives, and is part of a 3 knife set. I made a post here way back when:
