A birdie told me I am getting a Ruger SR1911 for my birthday. :)

Is there anyone making a good OWB holster for the SR1911?

The SR1911 is a basic 5" 1911.

There are many holsters available. Everybody and their brother makes a holster for a 5" 1911. Some of the better known makers.

If you like leather

Milt Sparks http://www.miltsparks.com

Mitch Rosen (I think Ruger also sells them on their site, with a Ruger stamp on them) http://www.mitchrosen.com

Kramer http://www.kramerleather.com

Alessi http://www.alessigunholsters.com

If you like kydex

Blade-Tech http://shop.blade-tech.com/index.php

Comp-Tac http://www.comp-tac.com

Garrett http://www.giholsters.com

Raven http://rcsgear.com

There are many more. If you knew what you'd like, I could narrow it down a bit.

Thanks. It is my first 1911...always been a wheel gun guy. I did not know if the dimensions of the SR1911 were different from other 1911s. Nice to know I have a variety of choices.

Rigs for the SR1911 .....

I'd look at the well made Predator line from www.wrightleatherworks.com . It has a side shield & a band around the top to aid re-holsters. ;)
It's leather & offered in a few colors(I like the coffee style).
Other top brands include; Mitch Rosen, Greg Kramer, Don Hume, Galco, Alessi, Ted Blocker, Mernickle, Kirkpatrick Leather, High Noon Holsters, Milt Sparks.

Armed professionals like horsehide leather for long term wear.
A good gun belt from Thebeltman.net or Galco may be smart too.
Contact the holster firm first to make sure they can create the style you want. Custom designs might take a few weeks or months too due to backlogs.

Man, you guys are killing me! How do I make a choice from all that beautiful work? Thanks for the leads, though. Having choices is good.
