Hello,
Does anyone use the Lee 452-255 rf in .45 acp ? I cast a lot of this bullet for use in .45 Colt where ,of course ,it works great. I am thinking this bullet will have plenty inertia to work the action with reduced loads in a Ruger p series pistol . Any thoughts ?

I'd sure give it a try, if you can make the OAL work to suit. I can PM you some published data for a Speer 250 grain LSWC, used in .45 ACP. Curious, what weight are your bullets dropping/what alloy are you using? Thanks.

Strangely, I haven't weighed that particular bullet yet, but they drop at .452.(most of the time)
My alloy changes a bit depending on what I've got kicking around for lead. I keep each run segregated into what I guess the hardness range to be.
Right now I've got a bunch from COWW.
For powder I'm thinking Unique or Bullseye. (Bullseye's been working good with 185 grain XTPs but I don't see any data for going as heavy as 255 grainers)
