I was at a gun show last weekend and bought the lee auto disk powder measure.I noticed when i got home that lee also makes a lee pro auto disk powder measure,what is the difference between the two?Thanks

Lee auto disk and the Pro disk work the same other than the pro disk has some parts teflon coated. Also the hopper set up is MUCH better in the pro disk as it has the heavier plastic w/ studs mounted in it and cap nuts for the studs. The auto disk has screws to hold the hopper on and if you change disks often the screws will strip out. If you find this happening just upgrade with parts to the pro disk, Lee has these available as a package unit.

Also on the pro auto disk you can turn the hopper to turn the powder off and make it easier to change disks.

Sorry to tell you but you made the same mistake I did when I first bought a Lee powder measure. I bought the one you did first and then found out how much better the Pro was so I sold off the first one and bought the Pro Auto-Disk powder measure. I suggest you do the same, it's well worth the extra money, really...

+1 on the Pro Auto Disk - It's all I have used since it comes with the Pro 1000 kit and throws very consistent and accurate charges (less than 0.1gr variance with W231/HP38).

I use the Pro auto disk as well with the adjustable charge bar.
