Lee Breech Lock Press

I haven't seen it, but a couple of thoughts about it:

As part of the anniversary reloading kit, it is a very good deal. Much better than the old challenger press.

By itself, I'd pay the ~$25 premium for the Classic Cast press, and use Hornady LNL inserts instead. Who knows how successful the Lee breech-lock system will be. It would be more reassuring if they offered inserts for 1-1/4x12 capable presses.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Hornady should feel flattered.
Lee's implementation of the bayonet lock is different, but Hornady has been selling the Lock-n-load for many years. I am very pleased with mine.

Ah, the marvels of C-N-C machining. Hopefully Lee's version does well.
I would not worry about it failing, the "breech" lock reminds me of most artillery lockups of the last 100 years. By the looks if it, it's much stronger than Hornady's version.
