My new Lee 38/357 4-die set only came with a 38spl charge Table. Lee says you have to order a 357 table and they will snail mail to you (5 bucks, what is this, 1982 or something).

Does anybody have a copy they can post or email? I find their charge tables have different (and contradictory!) load data than the Lee book.

Thanks!

That's why I want to see the card. To see what powder shows up the most with a corresponding dipper. Its IMR 4227 by the Lee book. Assume the card shows the same.

I understand you want to use the dipper but by doing so you are limiting yourself to a powder that will correctly use that one dipper. you can buy an inexpensive scale and then use any powder you wish to use. With a scale you can load your .357 Magnum ammo from light plinking loads all the way up to heavy hunting type loads. Why limit yourself for so little money?

I have that list, from my .357 die set.

Our scanner is broken, else I'd scan it and email the pic to you.

I could make a copy and send it snail mail -- PM me with your address if you'd like that

For sure, buy a scale and then you'll be able to manage your desired loads with a broad range of options. And on another note, I have had a Lee dipper set for several decades and have never really used it. But that's just me in this respect. I weigh every charge I load just because I like the consistency of my loads, especially my handgun loads because small varirances amount to noticable variations in performance, pressures, and over all accuracy. It's easy to get away with high powered rifle loads being dipped with little problems because the load range is so much greater in comparison to handgun charge weights. A rilfe charge can range from 50 grains - 64.0 grains, jst an example and not actual data spread. But a ahndgun load will often have a spread of tenths of grains ranging from say 4.3 grains to 5.0 grains which is only a .7 load range with very noticable differences in pressures and performance with only .1 - .2 variations in powder charge weight.

That said (or scanned) you are really limited in load selection for the combination you describe above. In fact my Hornady manual would show only one dipper and one bullet.

Time for a scale..... :what:

Yep ,ya need a scale to at least verify what your doing.

I cut cases down with a trimmer in this instance a 357 to dip 15grs. of IMR4227

Then solder a handle on of sorts ,nail , heavy wire, even a fancy bent coat hanger !!

Then to get real fancy ya can drill/tap the primer hole for a bolt to make it adjustable to some extent !!

Just some thoughts .

Good tip. Have a couple scales that I always used to validate the powder spoons. Like the idea of the DIY custom one.
