Lee Hand Press Question...

I haven't personally tried it with the Hand Tool press.
But my similar little Lee Reloader bench press would probably bust a gut trying to resize .223 cases. I know I would!

(if it's possible), watching TV, etc.
IMO: Reloading, especially priming, powder charging, and bullet seating should command your undivided attention.

Knitting is a good safe hobby to do while watching TV.
At the very worst, you might stab yourself with a knitting needle, but you won't blow yourself up.

I have only used one to reload .45ACP and it worked great and made excellent ammo. But after a session of sizing, priming, flaring, and seating and crimping 200 rounds in a sitting your arms will be sore. Not sure how it works on bottle necked cases though.

I went to Wally-World and bought a RCBS Rock Chucker for $117 and it is much easier faster then the hand press. But for a person looking to get into reloading on the cheap, then the Lee hand press is a great tool.

I use it with 30-06 and 7.62x39, so I don't see why not. I do it while watching Sons of Guns.:D

Hornady case lube in that little tub works FANTASTIC for sizing BTW. Much better than any spray stuff I've tried.

lol I like sons of guns too! The daughter is pretty cool! I like her attitude...

Anyways, I wish I could just buy a rock chucker for $117 from Wal-Mart... My Wal-Mart doesn't sell things like that arghhhh

I'm a broken down 'ol geezer and size 45-70 cases with one & have for years. .45acp, .44mag & .357 mag too. I'm considering doing my 7.62x54r cases with it. .223 ? Piece of cake
