Ok so I was browsing the local swap meet about a year when my eye caught a glimpse of a clothes basket that was covered over with wet news papers and other assortered junk. I noticed a familiar sight of a wooden ball protruding from under the mess and I had to look and see. Inside I found a locked up load master due to rust. I looked deeper and found all the other junk that comes with it. Any way with a little bit of gravel kicking it became mine I cleaned it up and have now used it for 6 months and am happy with my purchase. The only problem is there is no priming system, case feeder, or anything for that matter mainly due to the fact it was broken at the time of purchase. I noticed that on the Lee website that any thing that had ran out of its 2 yr guaranteed could be reconditioned for half of retail price. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.

No experience with the actual parts you're asking about but I have just sent in broken parts with a return address and had the replacement in a few days.

When I loaded over 250K rounds on my first Pro 1000, some of the linkage holes had elongated so I called Lee to inquire about some replacement parts (I had the press about 10 years by this time and the 2 year warranty had long expired). The person I talked to offered to factory rebuild everything to specs (any part with out-of-spec wear would be replaced) and shipped back at a reduced price.

Give them a call, as you'll get back a press that will be in factory new condition with all the missing parts replaced. I have had very good customer service with Lee and many others have also.

In Lee's book they mention you can send any Lee in after warranty and for half the price of a new one they will overhaul or replace it. Seems a cheap way to get a new press if you ask me. I have loaded many many thousands of rounds with my Lee. Can't say anything bad about them for the price.
