I went thru the complete thread and after disregarding my posts, 35 whelen posts and the OP posts I fing the following.

9 posters find the LPPM works just fine.
4 posters have leakage problems with it
2 posters are in the maybe/maybe not catagory
2 posters have never used one, so they have no idea.

This sorta gives a consenous, I think.

jcwit, I guess that I fit in two categories. Mine works great for stick/extruded powders and leaks with ball powders. I have a Lyman 55 that works great for ball powders and slightly hangs up on stick/extruded powders. Is the Lee the equivalent of the Lyman? Heck no but there's a place for both on my bench. I don't throw enough stick/extruded powder to worry about. It's mostly measured on the Chargemaster or scooped and trickled so the PPM is not going to wear out any time soon. Been using the 55 for 30+ years now.

Nothing wrong with the PPM . It states in the instructions(If one would bother) that it requires a break in period and at least one hopper ran through it.

Yes I bothered to look at the instructions. And this is at least the 4th hopper of powder through it. Changing tension on the screw does not improve matters. I'll keep it for single stage loading with stick powders.

I think I had read some where of what you can do to improve it. The leaking annoyed me also.
All I can say. " UNI Flow"

No leaks w/ Ball powder and drops perfect loads of Unique.( Flake powder)

It is sub par with extruded powder like 3031 ect.
My Auto Disk pro does extruded top notch. Makes a good pair.

I have 2 and niether one gives me a problem. Mostly use Unique, 700x , Trail Boss and clays. I have actually been thinking of getting another one.

My Perfect Powder Measure works great. On ball powders, it is at least as consistent as my balance scale. I did find some molding flash on a couple of parts, and had to clean that up. Since then, I've been very pleased with mine. It is more consistent than the Hornady measure costing 5X as much.

I have one too and you constantly have to re-tighten the side screw. Yeah its a pain but I only use it for handloads and each of those are weighed so its not worth it to me to replace it now.

Forgive me for being stupid. I don't have a PPM I have the Auto Disk Deluxe.
