Last night after reading again about the new Lee APP and then looking at Bullet Sizing Die kits on ebay I decided to surf on over to Lee's web site and look around. What I found was really eye opening. A lot of changes made to the home page, menus and look.

I did go and look into the APP and followed some of the links on it's page. From there I went to the Sizing Lube kit page to make cost comparisons.

After that out of curiosity I went into the press menu and the first thing I noticed was the Auto Breech Lock Pro listed as Pro 4000 Kit along with the ABLP press so I just had to look. The ABLP page hadn't much changed other than the Suggested List Price of $165.00... Then the page there are listings for the Pro4000 Kit and the first thing one sees is a $310.00 price tag. Then you select a caliber and go to the page. There you now find a complete press with a 3 die set, shell plate, case feeder, Safety Prime System and an Auto Drum measure. So now you can buy the press as a complete Kit like the Pro1000 or the LoadMaster.

Looking at the page for the Pro1000 it doesn't look much changed other than there appears to be a price drop. The Turret press page also appears to be unchanged.

After looking at all this the thought struck that I know there are many that deprime off the press then wet tumble then prime and it struck me that the new APP press and a Auto Breech Lock Pro press may just work very well together.

I currently have my ABLP/Pro4000 set up for 9mm with the sizer die, powder measure, RCBS pistol tube bullet feeder and then the seat/crimp die. But with the APP I could remove the sizer and replace with the powder measure then the bullet feeder, then the seater and finally with a crimp die. Same could be done with the Pro1000 w/o the dedicated crimp die.

Lee has stepped there game up the last few years, more so the last few months. It even seems some of there quality has gone up to. The last 3 bullet molds I've gotten have been the best ones I've ever had.
