Will this combination work?

I started setting it up and the double disk doesn't want to slide much back and forth. I put the longer screw in the hopper, put the black spacers on, and left the brass nuts on very loose.

The disks don't want to slide back and forth very easily.

Any pics or suggestions?

Try to track down the location of the binding--

1. Remove it from the press, and
2. remove the return spring (I assume you have this return setup)
3. actuate it manually and look for the bind.

If there is none, then you may need a different PTE actuator setup, or you will need to tweak the belling adjustment.

I know this sounds too obvious but is the tab that slids the disk in the slot? I have tightened the nuts down tight with the double disk and it still worked fine.

Make sure the charging die works right. Try it without the double disk kit first.
