hi folks, just joined highroads and what i found interesting is some of the research people have found on the history of the lefever firearms. losing records due to a fire in the syracuse plant, i have been trying to figure out why my serial number isnt listed with the production of the nitro special 16 side by sides which were carried over by ithaca gun co. my number is SL43498, but yet the serial numbers started in a higher 6 digit number. i thought this would have told me the year it was made. any ideas? would appreciate any info. thanks t.
