Anybody else have one (or more) of these? I think they are a great if plain classic American double. I have one 80 years old (a 20 ga.) and another 84 years old (a 16 ga.) and another 16 ga. made in 1940. I'd like to hear your thoughts on these great old guns. Thanks for your ears.

I've a 16 ga. Lefever and had a 20 ga. I traded. Great old shotguns. They tend to be overchoked and heavy. Thay are tanks though. I'll take mine pheasant or quail hunting once a yr. I had the chokes opened to skeet and improved- I hunt with dogs.

They are great guns; I have a 1922 16ga that I've fully restored. 20ga's are a little scarce on the used market so you want to hang on to yours.
