point taken but..........
Leos send cases to prosecutors to get a current interpretation of the law, prosecutors are the top cops above the chief or sherrif, as inexperienced rookies learn the ropes, they learn from their superiors as to what they can BS you with to (maintain order)at all cost, that is why drill sergeants make good cops, its better to ask the cops in person, eye to eye,as I did last deer season, about how to carry my black powder revolver, should I shoot it off at the end of the day into the ground,or de cap the cylinder,he said that decapping was unloading to a muzzle loading firearm,I said I would break it down also, and he said that's fine,I also asked him about deer In the area, and he said there were only beers (ALE) in his neck o the woods,I said no beers till after the hunt, good luck he said have a good one. the Mich. hunting regulations book affirmed his position on the matter.
there were a few deer in the area, but 15 years earlier it was a sportsman's paradise with silver dollar sized acorns ,large deer herds,,and flushing grouse every where, mostly coyotes now.
