Legal Gun Question

I have a question about a gun being legal. In Texas, is it legal to have a 12GA with the pistol grip & forearm grip attached? The model I am looking at is a Winchester Defender 1200.

I had heard from someone it was only legal to have 1 or the other grip, but not both.

Any help would be appreciated!

So long as your shotgun is 26" overall, and with an 18" barrel, you can have grips fore and aft.

A foregrip on a pistol is illegal w/o NFA paperwork.
