Okay, let me start with an apology if this is in the wrong section or straying from proper guidelines, but I can think of no other place to ask.
I'm Canadian, and I haven't studied American Law in quite some time, but an American friend of mine recently showed me a picture of a new possession: A rocket launcher of sorts, or so it would appear. It's about 3-3.5 feet in length, green and strongly resembling (though not exactly) This.
When I inquired as to the legality of owning such a piece, I was greeted with a look somewhat akin to
I'm assured it's a real item. I was denied permission to post the picture I was shown of the device, hence the wikipedia photo, but could anybody shed some light on this for me that I can then transfer to friend?
