Anyone have a clue about Howard Leight hearing protection? Their current web site doesn't list a thing about muffs. They are only showing "in-ear" protection.

What's up? Did they discontinue all their other products.

Interesting. They also list 2 other Leight earmuffs including an electronic model. I'm pretty sure Leight was strictly an in-the-ear hearing protection manufacturer.

I clicked on the 'About Us' button on the Leight site. They have recently merged with Bilsom and are now both under Bacou-Dalloz. I think the muffs were originally Bilsom designs and they are now using the Leight name for all their products. Just a hunch.

Um....I have two pairs of the Leightning 31...picked them up from Classic Pistol when I went for my first trip to the range. Damn good muffs. I currently use a pair of plugs in the ear covered by a pair o thef Pro Ears Dimension 2 Stalker (like the noise cancellation/low noise enhancement feature).

From a noise reduction perspective, the L31s were about on par with my current plug/muff setup. Worked well by themselves both indoor and outdoor. They might be a tad unwieldy if you're shooting rifle, and they did tend to get a tad warm after a while, but they're definitely high quality.
