guys i am closing in on done on my lemat carbine took the trigger guard off to make into a carbine trigger guard and a spring poppped out ?? how does it go back in ?? thanks

The long end towards the frame engageing the trigger.

It Keeps tension on the trigger so that it will engauge the notches on the hammer. It is best to start both screws and tighten them down evenly when reassembling the trigger guard other wise if the guard becomes canted stripped threds could result = big PIA

i had put it in upside down cocked and then cocntacted you , noew i flip it and cock it and now the hammer doesnt sit tight against the cylinder ^%#&(^%)*^!!
whats wrong now??

Are you sure the barrel is screwed on all the way?
