I have a s&w snub, hammerless revolver. It has a grip safety. J frame size,
1"7/8 bbl. 5 shot. I is caliber .38 special. I think it is a centennial. It has no model number on it. The serial number on the bottom of the grip frame is #7098. I would like to know when this gun was made, and approximate
value.

you really don't want to post your serial number...I strongly suggest that you edit your post and add XX's in place of the last two digits

There is nothing wrong with posting a serial number. The manufacturers do it all the time in their ads. Big deal.
