I recall several fairly recent threads on low availability of some good older calibers.
A store near here is holding a slow moving retirement sale. They had a lot of stuff on backorder during the Obama and Clinton Panics and it started coming in about the time the owner decided to retire and close up shop. It isn't moving real fast; I bought 2000 primers and a can of powder today and there was a good deal left.
I saw eight boxes of .257 Roberts, didn't count the 7mm Mauser, and I think 6mm Remington if I was reading the labels right on the back shelf.
So if you can reasonably get to Russellville, Alabama and need such things, they are at Dependable Service there.

The ,257 Roberts is pretty scarce around here...too bad a trip to Russellville would be a 3k mile round trip..

If I was anywhere near there, I'd buy it just for the brass. And to see if factory ammo did well through my 257 Roberts. 257 Bob brass is still hard to find. It's only eaten handloads so far in its lifetime. I've got 2 7x57s and almost everything to build a 6mm Rem from a 1909 Argentine action. (and a whole bunch of 8x57 rifles.) I guess I like the 57 mm case length. :D

It is too bad that great old cartridges are being forgotten. I am glad the .35 Rem was revived as a pistol cartridge.
