Here's what I have. An xd compact .45 with a tactical light. It works out pretty good because I can hold the gun normally and activate the Light just by extending my thumb forward

Agreed there. Mine is a 1911 on the beside with a pump gun in the closet.

Let's just say IF you make it to my room (because I'm really only home to sleep and I do that very lightly) I have, all loaded, XD45, SBH 44 mag, Nova 12 with mag extension, 1895 45-70, S&W 10, a hand made machete, and a very nasty disposition. Should I be in other rooms, I have other handguns, rifles, and shotguns. I'm not a SHTF type of guy. But an unloaded gun is just an expensive club. Speaking of, I have a whole set of Titleist irons in there too. And I have a 122 mph (radar verified) club head speed.

All guns are "basically" factory. The clubs have new aftermarket grips. Lol
