Gentlemen - my best friend and shooting buddy is a wheelchair bound disabled army vet. I go with him to the outdoor range and set his targets etc for him as the terrain is not accesible via his wheelchair. He's a good shooter and we have alot of fun .... Here's the problem he just got a 460 rowland conversion for his 45 - and it functions fine: but he cannot seem to find any load data on this round other than longshot powder. He's got plenty of Hornandy 230 grain HP and some AA # 7 - Anybody got any load data or experience with this round ?? Ole Al is member of this forum but not so computer savy so I'm doing the thread for him. I would appreciate any help or tips on loads / bullet weights etc. - this ole boy does more with one leg than most of us do with two. Thanks .... Gary

My friend has a conversion for his P14, he has used the "Realguns" data, to be honest, the full power loads are a little nerve-racking.It is a lot of power in a lightweight semi-auto handgun. And keep a firm hold on that recoil spring when you are messing with it.

He has tried all the powders listed and was happy with all of them.

Thank you

I appreciate your kind assistance gentlemen - I will obtain this data and see to it ole Al gets it. I have fired the 460 myself and I must say it is a snappy round indeed !! Mucho muzzle blast from that compensator though !!!
thanks again,
Gary
