I'm sick and tired of seeing pics of safe queens with perfect finishes. So lets see some pics of your holster worn wheel guns folks.

I can play this game.

Nice to see some well used and well cared for revolvers.

Haven't carried a wheel gun long enough for it to show any noticeable wear on the finish...
When it does, you'll be the first to know.

S&W Model 12 (skinny frame)

Looked like this when I got it, was a suicide gun that had blood pooled under the grip...ate a nice sized divot...

I cleaned it up as best I could and had it cerra-coated. It is carried quite oftem these days in a Don Hume J.I.T. or in a pocket.

Model 37 no dash 1968

This little gun has been carried every day for a long long time. It shoots great. I have always shot 158 grain standard pressure loads in it and it shows no sign of wear mechanically. Just ain't real purty:what:, at least all the numbers match;)
good luck,
gondo

Another SA, an old model Ruger Blackhawk. My grandfather's gun, so most of the wear is from him. Some more wear on it from my Aunt, and now it's my turn to add a bit of use to it:

And that corrosion is really impressive...
