hey guys,
i scored a arched mainspring housing off a friend last week, arched is fine but im more comfortable with a flat smooth msh. so rather than spend the cash on a new one, i put the files to work and cleaned it up myself.

****YES THEY ARE THE SAME GUN, SHE GOT A FRESH TRIGGER KIT YESTERDAY*****

im posting this for a freind on here to show him that you dont always have to spend money and buy new parts to get what you want.

Nice work! What'd you re-blue with?

Here's an RIA I'm currently dehorning. I have a flat, serrated MSH, I think I like the smooth look though and might try it out myself!:

here is a mauser rear sight that was modified. the base was cut in two then shortened and welded back together, the ladder and ramp were shortened and the end of a krag sight was added to make it windage adjustable. the step on the barrel was also turned back to match the shorter rear sight base.

shotgun style trigger on my $46.00 sporter. it was made by welding the bottom of a shotgun trigge to the top half of a mauser trigger.

mauser trigger bow cut welded and reshaped similar to a single trigger shotgun style bow, still rough shaped.
trigger bow had a big dent in it and i was bored that day.
