Here is about 80% of mine. The other 20% I use. Even though I should have stock in Galco I know there are peple out there with a bigger collection than I. Opps I left out about 1/2 dozen single action rig's in another box.

Oh my lordy...

I usually buy three or four or five, pick the one to keep and sell the rest on eBay.

Got anything in there for 1911s? I might look at taking one off your hands if it's the right one.

It is an addiction I know. I can't sell them though. Very few of these are of the tried and didn't like catagory. I have this feeling that I have to have a holster and atleast 6 mags and 200rnd of high quality defensive ammo for each handgun. When I got up over 50 handguns I knew I had a problem. It became impossible to rotate stock of ammo etc. Even if they were guns I never dreamed of carrying I had to have a holster. About half those holsters are new, never worn. Mostly becuase I have no desire to carry things like a glock 21 but I had to have a holster for it. Just so I could if I wanted to. So in short if I sold a holster I would have to sell a gun, and I don't sell guns.

That is how I know it is an affliction. Even thougth I have a dozen 1911 holsters if I buy a new 1911 I have to buy a new holster for it. Hence the 3 milt sparks summer specials. I think that relates to a book I keep (my c&r bound book) that also serves for insurance purposes and each page has a section for modifications etc with a subcatagory for holsters, mags, ammo. That blank spot haunts me.

Dang, that's alot of holsters!

Well, I guess I bought the right one the first time because it's the only one I have:

That is a nice one. I have that same one in there somewhere. I know Tamara has got to have more than me along with quite a few other people.

Yeah, if you're looking to sell stuff, we have this nifty little 'for sale' section of the site. ;) You could make some money.

I, for instance, would be interested in stuff for: S&W 4506-1, 1911, Glock 20, Browning HP, CZ-52, S&W revos, maybe some other stuff.

Capitalism. Its a Good Thing.

That's funny.

But I know what you mean I have an 'Old world' right hand pancake holster w/thumb snap I thought would be cool for IDPA. It isn't thick enough to hold its shape, it doesn't snap closed well. I'm thinking about cutting the top off of it so it's just a scabbard. I spent some real $$ and got a Galco g-slide. Funny thing is Dillon's g-slide is almost as good as 1/3 the price.

Don't get me started on belt holsters. I have a bunch. Maybe I'll add a pic.

I'm actually behind in holsters. I have none for my USP, or both (soon to be 3) revolvers.

I hope it never turns into a pile like yours! I'd much rather have another gun than that many holsters!

NO NO NO GUYS! THIS IS ALL WRONG!

If you're respective wives ever see all your holsters in one place they'll throw a fit - and don't try comparing it to their shoe collections it only makes things worse - trust me on this!

You need to keep your holsters scattered around - at least one with each handgun but then the rest should be a few here and a few there - "oh that old shoulder holster? yeah I still use that when I go hunting when it's cold." or "well honey, you know that holster still fits the pistol you bought it for for my birthday - of course I think of you every time I use it" or that sort of thing.

anyway for heaven's sake don't let them see the who she-bang together or there will be :cuss: to pay! you'll probably end up buying her another dress, or maybe even some more shoes!:what:

:D
