Current ride 92 SWB Landcruiser SX. Normally I drive, a mate spotlights out the passenger window, and another mate sits [and shoots] from the left hand corner of the bonnet.
This set up is regular saturday nite fun on a lot of back roads where I live.
Me and my mates [including an auto electrician, an electrician, and a builder] modified a 78 SWB soft top Landcruiser as a "shooter shuttle".
CNG conversion. The straight six flew past everything except gas stations.
Homemade roll cage/bull bars. Pipe benders are wonderful.
Extra Hella spotties.
Custom alternator to pump the amps for the spotties.
Big running boards, we could have two guys standing on each side. We also took the doors off.
Tow ball mounted back plate for quick dismount.
Winch.
We also mounted a chair for the spotlighter on top of the roll cage center bar.
I really need a digital camera.
My brother in law uses a 2000 Mitsi Galant V6 station wagon, its not bad at herding cattle either
