The XD is by far the best double stack 45 out there with the possible exception of the STI.

I've heard the new HK .45 isn't such a tank like the USP. Anyone got one of those?

I'm wonderin the same thing about the HK45. I don't think it's been released nation wide yet. I talked to a guy at a gun shop and he said that it would probably be around the summer time that they'd get some in. Didn't know about street price, though...

CZ 97B. I shoot it better than any other .45 ACP gun I've tried (which is a lot). Mechanical accuracy is fantastic. On top of all that, the gun is beautiful. Weights the same as my 1911 and is smaller in the slide making easier to wear tight in on a holster, grip thickness about the same, 2 more rounds. Mine eats every kind of ammo I've thrown at it but a few cheap Berry's 185 gr semi-wadcutters I reloaded.

I love that gun.

I like the SA XD45 Service Model, the Taurus PT 24/7 PRO and the Glock 21.

I also have a couple of really inexpensive Llama Mini-Max IIs that have worked really well for me.

And, berettaman, that Cougar 8045F is a beauty. I just picked up an 8000F Inox and love the way that it fits my hand. I just might be looking for an 8045F too...

guess I'll have to go with the glock 30 I just bought, 10 rnds of acp in a compact frame is darn impressive.....my other 45 is a single stack springfield 1911

I would have to go with the G21 or the H&K USP tactical if you are talking accuracy.

I owned a Witness compact with the wonder
finsh years ago,it was accurate and would
eat any ammo.I also like the Glock 30 i had
for a while but i prefered the way the EAA
Witness fit my hand.

Para P14-45 LDA. Eats any ammo you feed it and is more accurate than I can hold it!!

Hk USP Tactical is my favorite, the Hk USP is nearly as good but I prefer the match trigger.

The Springfield XD Tactical isn't too had either.
