Great story Trent. Good thing that wasn't super-glued in place, you'd never have been able to board an aircraft, ever again. Seems like you didn't run the clock out though.
As to these Midway mats, are they inflatable open-cell foam like a Thermarest camping pad, or are they simple closed-cell foam in a cordura sleeve?
Do the Midway mats soak up rain (or snow) or do they repel moisture?
Got out purposefully plinking in the cold (26F) about 3x this past week, including this pm. Good results and fun. No pics though.
That mat was rolled up snow and all, and left in my truck for the last month and a half. I opened it up last weekend and it was dry, no mildew or smell.
Not sure what kind of foam they use but I haven't detected any weakening on the foam after a full season of hard use - it looks just like the day I bought it. (Minus the name "LAWRENCE" stenciled on it so I can tell mine apart from all the other guys...)
