The coverage of two recent events in the District of Columbia shows how the old media in this country has dropped all pretence of impartiality. The first image is from yesterday, 25 January, in Washington, D.C.

Please consider how much media coverage you have heard about it.

It was a pro-life protest.

The second image is from the next day, today, the 26th of January.

It was from a protest against the the people's right to keep and bear arms:

Consider how much media coverage that you have heard of this event.

Yes the camera shots are completely different. The first gives you a pretty good idea of the size of the crowd. The first image is from the new media.

The second shot does not give you a good idea of the overall size of the crowd. The image is from AP. This is very deliberate. I could not find any shots of the overall crowd of the second event.

By my memory, both events were described as having "thousands of protesters". Many outlets did not even mention the pro-life event.

I used the pro-life image because it was only one day apart from the anti-rights image, and because the pro-life cause is every bit as politically incorrect as the right to keep and bear arms.

The old media has become so self blinded and self deluded by progressive political correctness that it has become a tool of repression for the regime.

Its funny, they are argueing that the only way to " stop gun violence" is to repeal rhe 2a...They really haven't thought things through....

Because If they do actually repeal the 2a, they would ignite a civil war... Leading to countless numbers killed.

So either these people are incredibly stupid, in which case we shouldn't listen to them....or they don't really care about stopping violence, in which case they don't deserve to be listened to...

Right on both accounts. I'm not sure I'd call them stupid, but certainly they drink from the ever-flowing fount of kool-aid spewed forth from the main stream media. Not sure who came up with it, but I saw a great quote (paraphrased);
I find it interesting that those who say you shouldn't trust anything you see on the internet, turn around and sit for hours and believe everything you hear on the television.

Dean, out of curiosity, I googled "gun control march in washington dc." The most zoomed out view I could find was a video from CNN (sorry, no link right now). It did pretty much confirm that it was a small rally, especially compared to the pro-lifers. Every other news outlet I checked had a very zoomed in view of the march.

Thanks for the info. New Media Power!

I appreciate your work. If we can find a decent image, it would be great!

Thanks for posting this. I noticed this too. Well, I hadn't heard of the pro life march until now. But I saw this article in foxnews.com and noticed that it said "thousands" and had a similar pic but the article didn't even say how many were there aside from the fact that it only spanned two blocks.

I saw this article and picture too, and the thing I found odd about it was the guy in the red coat. His slogan on his sign is a PRO-gun slogan. I've heard it repeated many times on various gun forums. So what's the deal, is he infiltrating the anti-gunners for us or something? Or am I just not understanding his point?

Yeah, kudos to that guy. Surprising thanks to Fox news for putting up that pic of a pro gun guy in a march of "thousands" of people marching against guns. :)
