Looks like a pretty decent shotgun. You need to let us know how it performs and feels. Remember your hearing protection when you go to break it in. I bet all those ports will make it a tad louder than normal!

Huglu is not only a gun company name, but the name of the gun-making region in turkey where there are many other makers - some very good, some not so good

It really pays to know WHO made it

was thinkin of gettin a 712 shotgun, i passed took a chance on this one, if all fails i will post, if not it will be money well spent over the cz712 with all you get from this particular shotgun:)

dont know about you oneounceload, but the first link i posted up has the same info.

Could I humbly ask that when you get it, can you take some pics with the forearm off? I'd like to see if it compares to the Sultan.

will do, as i will not hide anything, i will let the shotgun experts here determine their findings and see if its wortht the money. will definately take some close up pics.

armoredman, the shotgun is built by 3rd generation panteran of turkey, who has made shotguns for Big name brands that sold for 3 times the price now beign offered.

ifit, I think you misunderstand me - the only shotgun I own IS a CZ-USA branded Huglu, the CZ 712. :) I like it just fine. Mine has different add-ons. Turkey has been making guns since gun powder was invented.

lightning 12 arrived couple days ago, and got to shoot it today. according to the handout it came with, the shotgun will cycle normally shooting with 1330 fps ammo, but says will not cycle 9 pellets of 00 BK...but just shot some wolf 9 pellet 00 BK with no problems cycling. shot some bird shot, with hand cycle only. also noted "NO MAGNUM LOADS" some pics
