According to GunBlast, Lipsey's is coming out with another exclusive Ruger Single Seven revolver in .327 Mag. This time it's a fixed sight, Birds Head grip gun, with a 3.75" barrel.

I'm a sucker for Ruger single actions. I already have a 5-1/2" Single Seven, and am starting to lust for this one. Although, realistically, I have no need for one. Other than the seventh shot, anything this revolver can do would be better served by a used S&W Model 632 Pro. Which I'm also lusting after.

Well, it is "cute" and some women folks and older children will like it for cowboy action shooting. If it shoots to POA, it will make a nice little kit gun for hiking, woods walking, fishing, canoe trips, etc. And I imagine a few hardcore single action fans will find it just right for concealed carry. But there are better choices for all those niches.

I would like one if just for size and handiness but just got a Birdshead in another caliber and am working on getting a Bisley Convertible 3.75 inch. These special runs coming close together are killing me. LOL.

No need for a .32acp cylinder with this Ruger. My 5 1/2" Single Seven 327 will shoot the 32acp just fine. Matter of fact so will the SP101 327. One reason that it is not advertised may be that due to the rim thickness it may not fire in every gun.

I built a 32 H&R mag version not so long ago - but with a 2.5" barrel, sans ejector. I'll probably need to purchase one of these to go with it.

I had a 7.5" Single 7 for a time, swapped it for a 327FM SP101 - sure which it was a 6" barrel instead of a 4.2", but it certainly does well for what it is.
