Little help with a 410

Received an Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works single shot Champion .410
s/n 45382. It shoots great but the blueing is gone and the wood is pretty beat up. Can anyone tell me anything about this gun and date it? i'm trying to keep complete records of all my guns for insurance reasons but am having little luck finding much out about these Iver Johnson shot guns.

They are a "farmers grade" shotgun and in mint condition would be worth $80-100.
