I recently aquired a Llama "Ruby Extra", Spanish made revolver, it is chambered in .38 long colt, the guy i got it from, said all he ever used in it was .38 special ammo, and did'nt have any problems. Has anyone done this, and is it safe to use .38 special in this gun.
Thanks

.38 Winchester white box is pretty mild, but Remington still loads .38 Colt, and Sportsman's guide carries several brands for the cowboy action market. You could always get a buddy who reloads make you up some low pressure .38 Colt equivelent loads on .38 special brass. It's definately doable.it might be time for YOU to start reloading !
