Title says it all. Is there any reason not to load 9x19 with a 9x18 Makarov die set? Just raise the dies a silly millimeter.

Yep. The Wundernine, aka 9mm Parabellum, aka 9x19, is .355. It also has a tapered case. The 9mm Makaraov, aka 9x18, is .365 (mas o menos, depending on who's making the gun), and is a straight-wall case.
Conclusion: don't do it.

Going the *other* way might be possible. (but will overwork the brass)

Yeah... that silly millimeter means a lot. If you check out the case dimensions, you'll see why.
