Any suggestions will be appreciated?? I am shooting a Ruger #1 .204....good rifle, but not great in terms of accuracy. I'm shooting Hornady brass, Rem 7.5 BR primers, Sierra 32 gr BKs, with 28 gr of Benchmark. This load is the best I've been able to load, but my groups are still erratic and vary from a decent .75" to an unacceptable 2." Adjusting the seating depth has not made any difference. it seems like it will vary on any given day. The only accurizing I've done is adjusting the factory trigger. It is a decent trigger now, but not great. I am aware that Ruger #1s can be unpredictable and not always accurate. I ordered some 39 grs Sierra BKs to see if that will be any better. Do you all out there have any suggestions? Or should I conclude that I have one of those #1s that are just not great shooters? I would like to own a Kimber or Cooper, so maybe I should sell the #1 and buy one of those.
