LoadMaster missing primers?

I have a Lee LoadMaster and load mostly .45s. Anybody have problems with brass not getting primed? I can't seem to see a pattern in when it does and when it does not. It isn't a real big problem, just terribly annoying to get 4-5 dead loads out of 50 :(
 
This is a commonly reported problem with that press. If you do a search, keyword Loadmaster you will probably find some past threads that may foffer help. I had the same problem and was not able to find a resoution. Finally threw in the towel and sent the prpess back..
 
The bad news is the plastic parts like the feed finger are easily damaged. Once they are bent or burred, it is almost impossible to get them to work reliably again. The good news is, they are really cheap. Buy yourself several spares for just a few $, and replace them when they get damaged. I quit using the press primer, and started hand priming. Like several guys have posted, a good movie, two coffee cans, and a box of primers will keep you in primed brass, and stop you from using teh bullet puller.
 
Best money you could spend to improve your Loadmaster would be for a Dillon 650! ;)

I loaded, tediously, tens of thousands of rounds on a Loadmaster. Wish I'd wised up and gotten a 650 tens-of-thousands of rounds ago.
 
Have you called Lee?

I had a similar problem on my Dillon 550B and the tech guys at Dillon solved the problem entirely in all of 10 seconds. The guys that make this stuff know them inside and out, and are happy to help.
