Gentlemen,
This question is a hard quiz type post. In July 29, 1926 Ordnance gave the go ahead for the production of (1) one .30 Cal. Semi-Automatic Rifle based on the Garand design. However, Ordnance was far from giving up on the .276 Cal. and add to that a .256 Cal. for the Semi-Automatic Rifles. So Ordnance also wants the data i.e. Bullet weight, Powder Charge, etc., etc., for both the .276 Cal. and .256 Cal. design Cartridge. Gentlemen, that's the question what was the breakdown for the .276 and .256 Cal. ammo loadout in 1927 ? I know many of you will just past this one by but, it's very, very important in the history and production of the M1 Garand we know today.
I will post the Ordnance file in a few days BUT try to work on this one.
I hope you enjoy

HAPPY "T" DAY to ALL
Some data has been posted before others have not.
Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.

Gentlemen you know what to do. Push just a little more TIA. Gentlemen your doing a GREAT JOB.

Thanks again
Clancy
