My 45 cal Patriot used to shoot really well, and then it wouldn't stay cocked. I took it apart, and it appears the hammer parts are worn such that the sear slides off the ledge that supports it. Is there any way to get replacement parts or even a new lock mechanism? This wear point doesn't appear to be repairable. I've attached a couple photos because i know there have been several lock mechanisms used by T/C

There's 2 lock sears [hammer release] for sale on ebay and some other lock parts such as 4 different tumblers and a fly.
Some Patriot lock parts are shared in common with the TC Seneca and Cherokee.
Doing an eBay search should include all three model names such as: thompson center patriot seneca cherokee lock
That's how I found the sears which are labeled as for the Seneca and Cherokee only.
It's possible that it won't fit due to the Patriot's reversed trigger, but the ads have plenty of detailed photos of the parts to compare.
If it's not the right part then search often because parts come and go fast on eBay.

Another option that was recently mentioned here is to contact Ed Cain by email for TC Parts.
He owned Cain's Outdoors and Mountain State Muzzle Loading which closed down in the past few years and he has a stock pile of TC parts.
His email is [email protected] to comtact him with an inquiry.

Or you could send the lock my way, I can most likely rebuild the worn part. It's an option if parts can't be found. P M me if you're interested.

I just found what looked to be the right parts on ebay and ordered. Hopefully this works. Thanks for your help.
