Locks on the Ruger SP/GP handguns???

I doubt it. Ruger claims they will put locks on "new models" so, "if" Ruger puts locks on their double action revolvers, it will be a new model that replaces the current lines.

Ummnnn- They are putting locks in the Single-Six and Blackhawks and those models have been around for a bit. The single-actions and semi-autos are first for the lock, plans haven't been announced for the da revolvers yet but the writing is on the wall. I'd buy what you want soon if you don't want a gun with a lock.

Yep, they've been around a bit but, they still don't have locks. Ruger's site list the New Vaquero and 50th ann. New Model Blackhawk as the only compromised revos.

I know that I should think more positive but I think it's just a matter of time.

I sure hope not, I like them the way they are. on second thought, if they do...maybe my "pre-lock" will be worth more

I've got six Rugers. They don't have a lot of variety to choose from, so I figure I'm done, anyway. Two P guns, two blackhawks, an SP101, and an old army. A lock wouldn't bother me that much if it don't turn itself on like some folks seem to think the S&W does. I have a lock on my M85 Taurus and sorta lost the key. :D I've put a lot of rounds through it and it hasn't turned itself on.

I'd be afraid of getting sick if a sick person sneezed in my face. I sure hope ruger doesn't do it.
