I just had my 6" 10mm lone wolf glock barrel returned(?) from some warranty work to remove a tiny piece of protruding metal. Something about the returned barrel looked odd and Lone Wolf Distributors answers were vague. I persisted and they finally told me the barrel they returned to me was my original one but that's not true.

I checked the internet and confirmed that my original barrel had the polished steel barrel - the one they sent me back is all satin finish from top to bottom.

What does all this mean? Why were they so vague and cagey, and why did they lie? Is the overall satin finish something new or old. Is this evidence of a second or used or what?

I just can't use this barrel until I understand what's going on. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any suggestions and ideas as to what to do would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Norman,

When a barrel is sent back to have armory work done and there has to be any polishing or filling on the barrel it is not uncommon for us to beadblast the barrel. This gives it a nice satin finish and cleans up the barrel where any work was performed.

I'm sorry it was not clear from the outset that your barrel was beadblasted before shipping back to you.
