Does anyone make a long barrel (longer than 6") double action revolver in .357 magnum ??

Look at Smiths for the long barrels in double action. Not sure if they have one at this time with the longer than 6" barrel (686 is offered in 6"). I see no real reason that it has to be a brand new gun; just a revolver in good condition. Look for a Model 27 Smith with a 8 3/8" barrel. Fine revolver!!! They are around in very good condition. There are always Taurus (not Dan Wesson...can't for the life of me keep that one straight.) Raging Bulls that come in longer barrels. Never owned one, so I can't recommend one. Ruger made Redhawk's and Bisley (Blackhawk hunter) with a 7.5" barrel.

Long barreled 357

A local dealer has an 8 3/8 inch Model 27 that has had a professional action job for $495. Its in great shape and I only wish it had a shorter barrel.

S&W, Ruger, Dan Wesson, Colt, and Taurus have made long barreled .357 mag revolvers at one time or another.

Dan Wesson 8". One of my more fun revolvers to shoot, though not extremely practical....
