Long Gun in Car (IN)

Hey all;
Does anyone know what the laws are in Indiana reguarding having a long gun in a car? Does it have to be in the trunk? Is it allowed to be loaded.

If it matters, I have an Indiana CCW.

I can't cite a law in the IC, but have traveled IN frequently and no one I
know will travel with one loaded there. Usual advice of unloaded, cased, inaccessible, etc. probably applies. Doesn't that pretty much apply
nationwide with long arms in a vehicle

And, yes, you must have a CCW recognized by IN to go thru IN with a loaded
pistol. IN is also very particular about unloaded and cased pistols --roaming
around their state even in this condition will get you in trouble.
