Long wait for 2021 deer pistol!

Waited 9 months for the SRO from , through their FI program. Now to sight it in and wait for gun season here in VA! Used C&H plate, happy with the fit. Think I’m going to remove the irons (plastics actually), does anyone make a dovetail filler for Glock?

I have the same pistol with a Vortex Venom 3MOA dot on mine. I'm planning to take mine deer hunting too. Good Luck this year.

I'm answering the question as it may also benefit the OP. I have an aftermarket KKM barrel that is the same length as factory barrel. My load is Starline brass, 13.0gr AA9, 180gr Swift Aframe bullet, CCI Large Pistol Magnum primer. COAL is long as possible that still feeds in the Glock magazine.

190 grain Federal JHP. They are an old federal law enforcement load. Was going to order some Underwood but for the distances and size deer I’ll be shooting, this load will be fine.

Same here, (not a Glock guy) ....but for the purpose intended, I kind of like that one.

I'd imagine I'd get about 1,100fps with that load data in one of my similar loads. You know you've got plenty of room in that brass to go hotter CarJunkieLS1, especially since you are seating longer!

I'd imagine I'd get about 1,100fps with that load data in one of my similar loads. You know you've got plenty of room in that brass to go hotter CarJunkieLS1, especially since you are seating longer!

I don't really know what the velocity is but my Glock throws the brass farther than it does with the same load using a Nosler JHP. That load clocks 1220fps from the Glock factory barrel. I suppose I really should chrono a few of them just to be sure.

I just today chronod my above mentioned loads. My 6" KKM barrel 22# RSA in the Glock 40

180gr Swift Aframe was 1312fps 3 shot average.
180fr Nosler JHP was 1291fps 3 shot average.

Don't really want or need to push them any more than that.
